And a late Merry Christmas, too!
I was a tad to busy to update my LJ, what with work and family, but now I have 6 days of vacation (well, five and a couple of hours, actually) and I can dedicate some time to my hobbies.
I spent yesterday night and today doing just that, and it felt so refreshing!
First of all after work I went to see Sherlock Holmes at the new theater that opened just last month. The place is very cool, sort of like a Warner Village, but smaller, even if the rooms aren't as big, but the screen was wonderful.
The movie was very nice, nothing to do with the books but Holmes and Watson's interaction is really something worth seeing (Holmes is SO in love...).
After that I came back home, had a nice evening chatting and reading fanfics, wished Happy New Year to everyone, went to bed and SLEPT LIKE A LOG. Man, I missed sleeping for as much as I wanted!
I woke up well rested, cooked up a nice lunch (
cannelloni, if anyone wants to try them... they're delicious! But I would leave out the Worcester sauce :P) had a nice afternoon watching tv-shows and playing with my Wii (I'd forgotten how tiring DDR was XD), followed by a quick dinner with delicious morsels of fat-inducing goodness, and now I'm watching silly videos on Youtube.
All in all a very nice day, if it hadn't been for that slight detail that made me angry beyond belief and awakened my vengeful streak. But now I'm much, much calmer.
I even have a resolution list ready!
The one for last year had just one item, and it was to learn to live for myself.
I must say I did fulfill it, as much as I could. New home, new job, I'm starting to learn to say what I think without minding the consequences, and I'm less unsure about myself, even if just a tiny little bit.
This year's resolutions list as one item too. It's my greatest wish at the moment, and I'll do everything in my powers to make sure it is fulfilled.
2010 Resolutions List:
1) GET RID OF THAT FUCKING SHIT OF A FLATMATE.
And this time I'm going to do everything possible to make sure it happens possibly before the month is over. Someday, if I have time, I'm going to explain exactly why.
But now back to Youtube and my chocolatey dessert!
Happy New Year again, everyone! May it bring you happiness, money and good health in abundance!
